Come join us in the 2008 Race For Research and help us in the fight against brain tumors. Last year was a great success and we raised over $300,000 to go directly to research institutions. However, there is much work to be done and we need your help.

This disease has had a devastating effect on many individuals but never has research held so much promise of finding a cure. However, research takes money and with less government funding available private research monies are more important than ever. This is your chance to make a difference, so please come participate:

START/JOIN A TEAM: In memory of a special person; to honor a survivor; or just raise money for a very important cause. You can participate as an individual; business; club; association; religious group; etc. our new website makes it simple.

INDIVIDUAL FUNDRAISERS: Our most important resource is YOU! Even if you only want to register to walk/run, please consider asking friends, family and co-workers to support you in your efforts.

SPONSORS: Please click the sponsor button above for opportunities to be a sponsor of SBTF.

IT IS EASY AND FUN. Just click on the appropriate button above and agree to terms and conditions. From that point, the system will walk you through how to get started. The top 5 fund raising teams will be recognized at the event and will receive a plaque with their team picture in honor of their efforts.

Race day registration and packet pick up will begin at 6:00 am on July 12th in the front at Atlantic Station. Race start time is 7:30 am. Race Day Registration is $25.00. We will have a special pre-race recognition for brain tumor survivors on race day, with pictures following the race. Remember, or recognize a loved one's experience with a brain tumor by bringing or sending pictures for the Wall of Honor that will be displayed. All donations made to Southeastern Brain Tumor Foundation are tax deductible. Please help us make a difference in the fight against this devastating disease!

Welcome! We are glad you are here and pleased you are interested in registration information for the 2008 SE Brain Tumor Foundation Race for Research.

Because of your efforts, the SBTF Race for Research has grown into our most vibrant fundraising and awareness event. From small beginnings several years ago to our most successful race event in 2007 where we raised over $300,000, the SBTF looks forward to once again achieving new heights in raising funds and awareness in 2008.

The Race for Research provides badly needed funding for the Foundation’s grant program. And you can rest assured that the Foundation is a steward of your fundraising efforts; our administration expense is less than 3%. I invite you to visit www.sbtf.org to learn more about our grant program and progress on brain cancer research.

On behalf of our Board of Directors, please accept our heartfelt thanks and appreciation for your work and efforts. Let’s make the ’08 Race for Research our best ever. Now, let’s get busy about building our teams and we’ll all see you on July 12th!
